Couldn't it be that you are living their lives and forgetting to live your own? Maybe you are expecting them to change instead of changing yourself? vs Sometimes I say things just to disagree? Could it be that I'm only being me?

Don't you find it odd that when you're a kid, everyone, all the world, encourages you to follow your dreams. If the person really isn't curious, but is asking the question anyway, that would start with something like: Not that I really care, but, how long have you two been dating? vs Just out of curiosity, how long have you two been dating? * If we're not supposed to eat animals, how come they're made out of meat?
