I know because I've done it thousands of times * However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at * Maybe the best thing to do is just stop trying to figure out where you’re going, and enjoy where you’re at Seven companies account for 90% of the market, the other 10% being small and medium companies * To succeed in life, one must succeed at being oneselfTo be born again, first you have to die * In order to lose weight, you have to reduce the number of calories in your diet * We read to / in order to / so as to know (that) we are not alone * If you don’t have enough time, stop watching TV * No man has a good enough memory to be a successful liar * Your beliefs don't make you a better person. We use if only to express a strong wish that things could be different. It means the same as I wish but is stronger. We use it to talk about past, present and future unreal conditions: If only I could * If only there was something she could do or say to help @ To talk about a wish for the future or to show a contrast between how things are and how we would like them to be, we use if only + would + v: * If only someone would buy the house * If only they would talk to each other. @ We use if only + past perfect to talk about a wish to change something that has already happened: * If only he had listened to what his friends had been telling him. (He didn’t listen.): If only Anna had been able to come. (Anna wasn’t able to come.)

You don't learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing, and by falling over * To lengthen thy life, lessen thy meals * Punishment is not for revenge, but to lessen crime and reform the criminal * As your boss, I must warn you to be careful. (I am your boss.) VS Like your boss, I must warn you to be careful (I am not your boss, but he/she and I have similar attitudes) * A ship is always safe at the shore - but that is NOT what it is built for * All that I am, I am because of my mind * Although death is terrifying, knowing that you are living to eternity without ever being able to die is even more terrifying * Be kind whenever posible. It's always posible * Be smarter than other people. Just don't tell them so * Change brings opportunities. On the other hand, change can be confusing * Do right, do goodDo your bestDon’t waste your time trying to reason with a narcissist. You are more likely to win the Lottery / hit the jackpot (figurative): be lucky, tocar el gordo * Don't find fault, find a remedy * Don't wait. The time will never be just right * Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I know because I've done it thousands of times * Happiness is no laughing matter However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at * I believe in rules. Sure I doIf there weren't any rules, how could you break them? * I don't have to be what you want me to be. I'm free to be what I want * I am incapable of conceiving infinity, and yet I do not accept finity * I feel really blessed because of where I come from  * I leave before being left. I decide * I talked to him so as to have a better understanding of the situation * I asked her out in order to know whether she had any interest in me. * If you don’t have enough time, stop watching TV * If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales  * Imagination is more important than knowledge  Know yourself * Life is definitely always about expanding. That's how we grow * Remind yourself that it's ok not to be perfect * Lost time is never found again * Success has always been a great liar * Taugh times never last, but taugh people do * To be born again, first you have to die * We read to know we are not alone * I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday * (True), We love life, not because we are used to living, but because we are used to loving * Your beliefs don't make you a better person. Your behaviour does * Luck, that's when preparation and opportunity meet * The word 'happiness' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness * We learn from failure, not from success! * When I say I love you I actually do. I don't say it just to make conversation * You (only) get what you give * Not being able to govern events, I govern myself * Back in the fifties; women's rights (then) were still laughable compared to the condition of women's rights today * When I am / get sad I stop being sad and "be" / (I) am / become AWSOME instead! * We are what we believe we are * We are what we are because of what we think / what we were! / what we do / what we've been. That was a startling way to look at it. (surprising, alarming) But then (again) you taught me that; never show them you're afraid ; but when you think about the matter more or in another way: I agree she types accurately, but then again, she's very slow (that said, that being said, having said that; Having said that is usually followed by a clause with the speaker of that as the subject: "Having said that, I think ..." OR "Having said that, he sat down again...". On the other hand, "That being said" doesn't have any implications on who said it. (They are both mostly used in a context in which you are about to state a paradox, or contradiction)
